Questions
Is Yin Yoga relaxing?
Yes—but it's an active relaxation. Your body is working gently as you hold poses, so you might feel subtle sensations or mild stretching. That's the practice working. Many students say it's the most restorative thing they do all week.
Will I get bored holding poses that long?
Most people find the opposite. Without the distraction of moving, your mind often quiets, and you notice more about how your body actually feels. Many teachers play soft, live or recorded music to anchor the time.
What if I'm not flexible?
Yin isn't about flexibility—it's about time and attention. Flexibility happens naturally when you give your body time to soften. Our props and modifications mean you're always in a pose that's right for you.
